Las Vegas With Kids: Following Blippi’s Favorite Places
Vegas With Kids. Sounds like an oxymoron? Not really. Apparently kids’ YouTube star Blippi has turned Sin City into kids travel destination too.
When all of the kids in their class were asked by their teacher what they wish for themselves for the New Year, they all said they wanted some sort of a new toy; only our kids wanted “to go to ‘Vegas.”
Yes, our kids’ unexpected obsession with ‘Vegas blossomed through YouTube, where they picked up “Las Vegas, Nevada” from a kids’ YouTuber Blippi — they’ve been watching him for two years now (and both Alex and I have gained real respect for the man’s amazing triumph story). Through the whole potty training process we promised them that since “there’re no diapers in Vegas” (not the child kind, anyway) only once they were fully trained, would we go on a family trip following all the fun places Blippi has been to.
And the time has come! I’ve done some research and pulled out all the places where Blippi filmed his show, and we went from one place to another– the kids had a blast.
